Freshlyground Tries to Make Hit on World Cup like Shakira

Shakira’s hot hit number Waka Waka is now followed by South African Afro-Pop outfit. Now it is Africa’s turn. In this time, Cape Town-based seven-piece are working together on high banner and sporting anthem. Now Shakira’s song for the South African Rugby Union’s bid for the IRB Rugby World Cup.

So for making the anthem Freshlygroung has worked with Goldfish which is multi-South African Music Award winning electro-pop duo and they also relate to Cape Town. Sony African-signed groups are released their rugby-themed single “Let’s Do It Again” on July 15^Th.

We are getting after the Springboks to look the first nation for win back-to-back World Cup tournaments. And it is our wish that we made them courage for unite the team said Freshlyground’s Simon Atwell.

The goldfish has also taken the award of music from 22 countries. They have played 190 shows in 2010 and freshly they played for the Vrij Festival in Amsterdam’s Olympic Stadium. The group union played live instruments and dance music as heard on 2010’s Get Busy Living.
